About

Sugarcreek Cares was formed in 2020 after George Floyd was murdered by police in Minneapolis. A small number of concerned residents of Bellbrook-Sugarcreek organized to educate themselves and others on matters of racism, diversity, equity and inclusion and to build community.

Sugarcreek Cares grew in its first year to include members participating in all facets of the group’s antiracism work.

The organization focuses its efforts on advocating for racial justice and equity through our government leaders, schools,  our faith-based institutions and residents.
